| ABILITIES:

Hideyoshi's abilities range from short range combat to assessment of military skill and authority. While he leaves most of the technicalities to his tactician Hanbei, Hideyoshi has a keen knowledge of the inner workings of the militarily motivated mind. He believes strength overwhelms all other aspects of war, and places his life on his own to see through the conquests he rests ahead. Contrary to the samurai seen in Basara, Hideyoshi doesn't use weapons during battle. He relies mainly his hardened fists to plow through enemies, and implements his own brute strength to tear away at hoards of enemy lines. Listed are some of his moves one can use while playing him in the several Basara games.
• STRENGTH: Above all else, Hideyoshi epitomizes the brutality of born strength. His two heavy fists can create as much devastation as a small storm, and he utilizes these tools to the fullest when it comes to battle. His close range style of grappling is to be noted, as Hideyoshi will often attempt to grab and pile-drive his enemies, use them as projectiles or even trap their limbs in his steel-tight grip. He uses his fists above all else for an assortment of techniques, from uprooting large chunks of earth to creating craters with his fists.
• SPEED: Slow and steady. Hideyoshi walks a wide gait and is not particularly swift when it comes to combat. He's considerably slower than most characters in Basara, even compared to ones who are closer to his own size. What he lacks in speed, he assuredly makes up for in offense.
• DURABILITY: Hideyoshi's sheer mass makes for an easy target, but his ridiculous durability leaves him almost invincible to most projectiles. The elements rarely pose a threat to him, unless he's exposed to them for far too long. His pillar stature keeps him sturdy and resolute against most obstacles, and even nearly being blown to bits by a bomb hardly leaves a scratch on him.
• INTELLECT: As far as warlords go, Hideyoshi's intellect is evident but not a major factor in his traits. Having worked up from a lower solider position to becoming a famous general, Hideyoshi understands the costs of war and is always careful to consult decisions and orders with his keen-minded tactician Hanbei. Between the two, Hanbei's intellect reigns supreme, and Hideyoshi understands this as well as he understands his own limitations.
• WEAPONRY: fck swords check out his sweet gauntlets and get wrekt.
